FabHotel Royal Stay I - Near Phoenix Mall, Mahadevapura

I had to keep asking for soap and a towel, and the room wasn't clean. The card key didn't work, so whenever I needed to get in, I had to ask reception to send someone with the master key. The AC also wasn't cooling, and cockroaches were roaming around the room. Worst hotel I've stayed at, and I'm never coming back.

We chose this place for its location, but the service was pathetic. The lift was out of order, which made climbing all the stairs extremely difficult for our group with senior citizens. The staff were rude to our senior parents when they got stuck in the bad lift. There were cockroaches and bed bugs in every room. One room had no water, and another had no hot water. The bathrooms were unclean, as were the towels, sheets, and rooms. One bathroom had a large open window; when we asked them to close it, they said nobody would look in and left it open with a small cloth to cover it. The room cards didn't work, so each time we needed to enter, we had to go to reception for the master card. Towels and bath supplies were only provided if requested. We booked two nights but couldn't stay the second day, and had to make do with our own apartment space for all nine guests.

I stayed for about seven days as a solo traveler and had a pleasant time at hotel royal. The location was very good, and the food from udupi park tasted great. Mr. Ali at reception was helpful and provided good service at any time. Room service was good and attentive too, and Mr. Anam was supportive. There was another kind, genuine guy on shift from morning to night, Mr. Apal, though I'm not exactly sure of his name. I was a happy customer and would suggest it to friends and family visiting bangalore.

I booked a deluxe double room through the fab hotels app, but they gave me a single room and said they provide single beds for one person. The dustbin smelled so bad I had to put it outside the room, and there was no towel. I also saw a cockroach on the bathroom sink. I wasn't satisfied with the room or the service.
