Golden Residency Guest House

I visited the restaurant yesterday, and the reception boy's rude manner made it one of my worst experiences. From the moment I came to the counter, his tone, body language, and general attitude felt disrespectful. He didn't seem interested in helping, and it affected my whole visit. I didn't expect this from the team. I hope management takes a serious look at it.

The bed was very comfortable, the room clean and tidy, and being a few streets away from the noisy main street made for a quieter night's sleep. I believe the hotel has been renovated and renamed, though signs of the old furniture and appliances remain. There's no electric kettle, but you can ask for hot water. Overall, it's a comfortable and affordable place to stay.

The receptionist, a man around 35-40, argued and shouted at customers from morning to evening. I saw him behave that way with other customers too, not just me. His conduct was the worst I've seen, and I don't understand how the hotel gave him a job. They also took an extra 180 GST. The staff were rude and showed customers no respect. Please don't waste your money or book here. I sincerely advise against it, and ask the hotel to remove this person because his behavior is costing them customers.

Don't trust the glowing reviews and assume the place is good. The rooms were garbage, the bathrooms unusable because of water leaking, and nobody responded to complaints from the room. The front desk was useless, and promised things from before booking had no follow-up afterward. The staff were pathetic. Shitty hotel. I wouldn't book here even if it were free.
