I stayed six days and nights in early June, booking through OYO. The ratings were mediocre, but the photos on OYO and other platforms made the place look reasonably clean and maintained. The actual stay was very different, and the low price didn’t make it feel like reasonable value. I wouldn’t recommend it unless cleanliness and maintenance improve substantially. Check-in was the first problem. I’d been promised an early arrival, but poor communication between OYO and hotel staff meant it wasn’t honored. After a lot of back-and-forth with both, I eventually got a room. The building looked neglected, the lobby was unclean, and flickering lights in the common areas made the place uncomfortable. The first room seemed okay at first, but the bed was extremely hard, the furniture looked old and poorly kept, and there were black particles on the bed and dust on the table. I asked to change rooms because of a large dark brown stain on the toilet seat, which I found unacceptable for hygiene. In the second room, the bathroom was also poorly maintained, and the toilet seat appeared to have fresh urine stains. When I complained about the cleanliness, staff said it was the best they could do. The bathrooms, toilet fixtures, beds, and furnishings all looked old and heavily worn, as if they needed replacement or refurbishment. The whole hotel needs a thorough renovation and much better housekeeping.
