The room was nice, though the cupboard area needs renovation. The washroom could’ve been cleaned better, and there were some issues with the pipes. Service was good: when I had to head out early in the morning, they unlocked the gate, and they extended checkout for a small extra charge. I arrived at 7:30 in the morning after booking through Agoda just 30 minutes earlier. The front office employee asked me to wait until 9 because the confirmation hadn’t come through yet, but after I called customer care, it was confirmed within minutes. The location was nice, though roadwork made the street muddy in front. The lift was a real relief.

The toilets were very dirty, and the staff were arrogant and used abusive language with guests. They even threw guests’ bags. Worst place I’ve ever visited.

The WiFi was fast, had strong connectivity, and no data limits. My room was clean and didn’t smell at all, unlike what some other reviewers had experienced. Room service was good, and the receptionists were helpful and nice. Check-in took just a minute with all the formalities. The bed sheet was too old and breakfast choices were very limited. I still had a pleasant stay here.

The food surprised me, it was tasty and there was a good amount of it. Staff were nice and appreciative, and OYO seems to manage the place well. The beds are comfy, the room was clean, and the bathroom hygienic. The building may be old, with electric boards and buttons that look like they’re from the stone age, but the standards have improved a lot under OYO. I’d recommend it for business travel or a couple of days’ stay.

I found this hotel while looking for somewhere nearby for my son’s exam at St. Josep University. The location is good, and it’s suitable for a stay with family and kids.
