Hotel Thanga Orchid

I booked a suite for three nights, and it was the worst hotel stay I’ve had. The TV and fridge never worked, even after several complaints. Room service was terrible, and the reception often didn’t answer calls. The rooms and bathrooms were dirty, and the bed sheets, towels, and pillow covers were stained. Management did nothing to solve the problems. I don’t recommend it at all.

The location was convenient, the room was comfortable and well kept, and service was attentive. I had a pleasant stay. An in-house restaurant would’ve made the experience a perfect five stars.

At Hotel Thanga Orchid, Bangalore, the rooms were spotless, well maintained, and cleaned with real attention to detail. The team were warm and helpful, and Manager was approachable and made sure requests were handled promptly. I appreciated how quickly they answered my questions. The friendly, polite staff and excellent service made for a comfortable stay. Highly recommended for cleanliness and hospitality.

The room and bathroom were very bad, and water came through very slowly. The bigger issue was breakfast: we paid around 250 rupees per person for a complimentary breakfast, but the hotel has no restaurant. The voucher they gave us for another hotel was worth only 160 rupees per person, and we had to pay cash for anything above that. They hadn’t made this clear. Funny that it has a four-star rating on MakeMyTrip.
