Hyatt Centric MG Road Bangalore

The staff member who served us at lunch was empathetic and professional. Our a la carte food would take about 25 minutes, so she offered us buffet starters while we waited, and said they were on the house. That gesture mattered to me because I have a fatty liver and shouldn’t go hungry. It’s the reason I gave the hotel four stars; otherwise, I would have given it three. I was there to meet a friend staying at the hotel and have lunch. We went to the fourth floor and declined the buffet, ordering a la carte instead. The rooms seemed far too small for the usual 10k-12k per night and felt claustrophobic, with no window or other opening. The amenities were sufficient, though. There are no smoking rooms anywhere in the hotel, just a small kiosk beside the lobby and another by the fourth-floor pool, like airport smoking zones.

The rooftop pool and dining spaces were lovely for unwinding after a busy day, with wide city views. Breakfast had a strong selection of local and international options, and housekeeping kept the rooms spotless and well stocked. The modern rooms were thoughtfully designed, comfortable, and had great city views. The warm, attentive staff made a real difference. Check-in and checkout were smooth, and every interaction felt professional. Hyatt Centric MG Road is right on MG Road, so shopping, restaurants, nightlife, and business districts are easy to reach. I had an excellent stay, and found it a comfortable and convenient choice for work or a weekend in Bangalore.

Breakfast was very good, but dinner was average. Even though we were staying at the hotel, they wouldn’t give us a table on Sunday evening. The rooms were good, though small and not worth the price. They said a fruit basket would be included in the room, but it wasn’t provided because they were out of stock. Really? Not a place I’d recommend for middle-class families looking for a gentle stay.

The staff, security, and welcome were excellent, and the food and atmosphere at the hotel were good. But at today’s meeting, seating wasn’t sufficient, so around 15 people had to stand. Proper seating is a basic need for an event like this and should be arranged ahead of time. We kindly ask for better seating arrangements next time.
