Maple Suites Serviced Apartments

We arrived late at night, then checked out after waking up and finding somewhere else to stay. The price felt high for what we got, and the property didn’t match its photos. The staff were kind and tried hard to make us comfortable, and the location was peaceful. But the rooms need an upgrade: wallpaper was peeling, the bathroom needed a thorough scrub, the shower area edges were black, and the space under the sink was in poor condition. The room fridge had ice built up in its freezer and couldn’t be used. Two bedroom sheets were torn, and the fridge shelves in the downstairs breakfast kitchen were black with dirt or just very old and dirty.

Breakfast and the security service were good, but the standard rooms aren’t described clearly and had an unusual smell. There was also a smoking smell in the stair area. The standard rooms have balconies, so keeping some flowers and plants there could make them more attractive and premium. Some renovation is needed too.

We stayed for a month while visiting family, and the place suited us well. The apartment was cleaned very thoroughly, though the kitchen didn’t come fully equipped. When we asked, the staff brought a few more dishes and a cook stove. Breakfast was consistently good, with enough variety that I didn’t get tired of it over the month. The staff were cheerful, very friendly, and eager to help. People in the neighborhood were friendly too, including the street dogs. At dawn, the dogs howl when the prayer bells ring at the Krishna temple next door. It’s hilarious.

The people who work at Maple Suites really stood out. Everyone we met greeted us warmly and treated us courteously. The rooms were spotless, spacious compared with typical downtown hotel rooms, and showed signs of recent upgrades and steady upkeep. The interiors and amenities were thoughtfully done. The food was divine, with great service and a good selection if you’re careful about what you eat. We celebrated my daughter’s birthday there, and it also makes a nice gathering spot with friends for special occasions. It’s a family-friendly Bangalore hotel in Hennur and an ideal base for both business travelers and families. I was impressed by its location and decor. I’d love to stay here next time I visit India. Highly recommended.
