Narayana Studio Apartments

We stayed at the Cauvery guest house, Kaplong block, and it was quiet and peaceful, almost like a village. The double bed has an attached bathroom, and there’s a small living area with two devan sized sofas, one of which could sleep one person. The living space also has a TV and Wi-Fi, along with an adjustable dining area for four. There’s a cosy kitchen too. I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a calm place.

The rooms are really good, and the area is peaceful, though a little tucked away. Still, it’s a good choice for a family stay.

We had a great stay in April 2023, so we came back in January 2025. This visit, though, the service was a bit worse, especially the transport communication for trips to and from Narayana Institute of Cardiac Sciences. There’s now only one vehicle running, whereas there used to be three, so we had to wait impatiently for a long time.

This is a clean place to stay near the hospital, with a free car available around the clock for trips between the apartment and hospital. Shops for groceries, restaurants, and a park are within a five-minute walk. Each room has a kitchen, gas, and utensils, and there’s 24-hour solar hot water in the bathroom. Drinking water is available from a tap at all hours, clothes can be dried on the roof, and there’s a shared fridge for medicine and dairy products. There’s no restaurant since it’s an apartment for self-cooking, but outside food and deliveries are allowed. Cockroaches are a problem in the area, so ask reception for pest control service.
