My bike was stolen overnight from the parking area right in front of reception. When I reported it, I found out the CCTV wasn't working, so there was no footage or other evidence. Staff and management offered no help or solution, refused to accept liability for the theft on their property, and came across as uncaring and dismissive. The lack of working security and their response left me feeling guests' property is at serious risk. If you expect basic security and accountability, don't stay here. If something goes wrong, you'll be on your own.

The photos online look very old, and the rooms aren't maintained well. The whole setup seemed weird. I booked a double deluxe room online and paid in full, but when I arrived they said they'd given it to someone else. They offered a kitchen room that looked more like servants' quarters, but refused to provide the room I'd booked even when I asked. I trusted them and feel they simply cheat customers this way. Don't book if you might be left stranded on the street in the middle of the night without a room. There are plenty of other hotels in different areas.

I really enjoyed staying at orchid home. It's near NH hospital, so I'd recommend it to friends and relatives coming for medical purposes.

I booked by mistake for just one day. This might suit patients wanting a longer stay, but check the hygiene. The room smelled strongly of cooking, and the doors and handles were sticky.
