The roti was the one thing my Mom and I really liked at lunch at the newly renovated Hotel Inchara. It was thin, a little crisp but still soft, and not burnt like at some places. We also got a chicken reshmi kabab takeaway, which was apparently well appreciated. The other dishes were a letdown. We ordered paneer in homemade masala after asking for a spicy starter, expecting red, spicy masala, but got paneer in a light green gravy that was clearly made with green chilli sauce. The veg fried rice smelled strongly of dalda, and the egg curry was edible but heavy and greasy. It wasn't a good weekday lunch overall.

Since around 2001, when I was still a bachelor, this has been my regular spot with friends and family. I still come every other week for a few beers with a close friend. The ambience is great, and so is the food.

The staff are really friendly and good. The rooms, though, smell strongly of cigarettes, and the cupboards are badly designed. There's nowhere in the toilet to put toiletries. Hot water turns cold after one bucket, and there's no shower.

A great place for a big group to hang out, with loads of parking. The prices are very average, and the food quality is good. Don't miss the naan or kulcha.
