OYO 14520 Habitat Hotel & Suites

There aren't any arrangements for lunch or dinner, but that worked out fine since there are hotels and restaurants next door to choose from. I had a very good stay for about four days. The complimentary breakfast was excellent and healthy, and there was no problem when I asked to have water bottles brought to my room. Newspapers were always available at the counter to take up. The rooms were good enough, with notably good upkeep and cleanliness. The bathroom was excellent, and they put out free soap every day. The staff were warm and provided very nice service.

There's no in-house kitchen, and housekeeping could have done a better job. Still, the rooms are small but neat and tidy, the staff are courteous, and the complimentary breakfast was okay. The hotel is very close to Yeshwanthpur Railway Station.

For three nights, I found it average but good value: it's comparatively cheap, the rooms are spacious and neat, the AC worked well, the linen was clean, and the free Wi-Fi was fast. It's easy to reach and within walking distance of yashwanthpur railway station. The toilet was clean, though it wasn't sealed as is usual in oyo rooms, and the space was cramped. I didn't get a spare bedspread either. Breakfast was okay in taste and quality, but very limited: they count out just two pooris or two idlis per person. Room service was inconsistent, sometimes they said it wasn't available, other times they brought things to the room. Some room boys didn't respect privacy and would peek in even when the door was half closed. A mineral water bottle cost Rs20, and they wanted the room boy to hand it over. They couldn't wait until checkout.

The location is handy if you need Yeshwanthpur Railway Station or the Metro Station. Otherwise, getting in and out means dealing with chaotic market roads. The double beds are too narrow, and my bathroom smelled strange despite being insufficiently clean. The staff couldn't do anything about the odor, and room freshener didn't help. Breakfast was mediocre, and the breakfast area was especially poor in terms of cleanliness. Avoid if you can.
