OYO 17327 The Rove

We hired rooms here twice and had very good service on both stays. It's in a good location, with access to many iconic places in Bangalore. There are also affordable local restaurants nearby, which helped keep the stay pocket friendly.

The staff are kind and considerate with customers, and the room is clean and hygienic. It's a newly constructed building. A lift would help senior citizens and older people reach the second floor and above more easily. It would also be much appreciated if breakfast could be delivered when customers request it.

The washroom was really good and spacious, and the TV worked fine. We booked a classic 2X room, which was compact but enough for 2-3 people. Cleanliness was okayish, about 3/5. You can definitely book a room here.

The place looked very different from the photos on the app. The rooms smelled foul, possibly because of dampness in the walls, and the washrooms weren't clean. I drove into bangalore with a kid and arrived around 11pm, only to be told there were no empty rooms. After calling customer care, they fortunately arranged this one, Rove. By then the bad service had thrown off our whole schedule, and when you're traveling with a kid it's hard to stay in the right frame of mind. We needed somewhere at midnight and didn't check the price, but the place was still pathetic. I learned that lesson the hard way.
