OYO confirmed my booking, but when I reached the property they refused to give me a room. The whole booking experience was a scam, and I feel they’re cheating customers out of their money. Never book a hotel through OYO. Shame on OYO and its founder.

There’s no water in the washroom. I stayed one day and asked them three times about it. The room and room service were awful, and the place is a mosquito breeding ground. Honestly, I can’t find worse words for them. A platform might be a much better place to sleep than these rooms. Please don’t choose this hotel. OYO should upgrade its selection, or I’m sure it’ll fail soon.

The room looked like it hadn't been cleaned in ages. There was dust everywhere, and the pillow had no case and was dirty. The staff were rude, full of attitude, and completely unprofessional. I doubt they were even qualified. I booked through Oyo, but at the lodge they demanded more money. Oyo stepped in so I could stay, but when I later tried to extend through Oyo, the lodge refused and said I had to pay them directly. I ended up leaving. Someone from Oyo was helpful with getting me a refund after I called three times. Monica and another woman couldn't resolve it, but the man I reached on the third call did. If zero stars were an option, that's what I'd give.

We only chose this place because it was near my exam centre and we couldn't find another hotel in a good location. The rooms are spacious and look nice, and the bed itself was clean. There are decent hotels nearby for food, since there isn't a restaurant here. There's also an alcohol counter downstairs, though it didn't bother us. The service was awful. We waited nearly three hours for the person in charge of cleaning after calling him repeatedly, and he never came. The owner didn't show up either, and the room was locked while we were knocking. Later, two friends checking out couldn't get anyone to answer the door with the key, so they handed it to me and I left it at the desk. In room 302, my friends asked for the floor to be cleaned and the staff member just gave them a scolding in his own language. The cushions marked with Oyo were filthy, the TV didn't work and the wardrobe lock was broken. The receptionist was friendly, and apart from these things the rest was fine. Still, the owner should replace the person running the hotel. This kind of service loses customers. We had come nearly 3,000 km and paid a lot, so we didn't deserve this. It could also lead people to blame Kannada speakers.
