For work around Kadubeesanahalli or Sarjapur Road, the price and location are the only good things. The rooms smell of moisture and are full of mosquitoes, with no space for fresh air. The place is short staffed, and the staff who are there try to manage with what they have, but the service is poor. Orders at the restaurant take more than 45 minutes, and the food isn’t great. The free breakfast seems to be there only because it has to be, with the same menu every day and nothing special. Better to eat out.

There was no WiFi, even though it was listed, and for half the time there was no power or backup. The rooms and corridors were very dirty. You could collect 3-4 dustpan worth of dust, and housekeeping was poor. Hot water didn’t work in the bathroom, which also smelled bad. Overall, not a good place to stay.

Our experience was good enough. The rooms were neat and tidy, and the polite, helpful staff made the hospitality great. There’s complimentary buffet breakfast. Food is prepared as per our order, but it takes time, so order early. Management caters to guests’ needs, and there’s CCTV surveillance too.

I paid the 300 rupees they demanded, but the whole early check-in was a horrible experience. I arrived at 0600hrs and was first told there was no room until checkout because they were full. After I had waited in reception for 15 minutes, the staff member asked for my ID, then wanted 500 rupees. I've stayed at almost 25 OYOs and know early check-in is supposed to be 30% of the booked room rate. I showed him the policy. He went quiet, then changed the charge to 300 rupees, saying that was the minimum. My room was 688 rupees, though he claimed it was 750, and 30% of 750 still isn't 300. He said I could take the room or wait until 1100hrs, so I said nothing and paid. I'm a Gold member of wizard, and as a hotelier I understand how this works. The staff either don't know the policies or are knowingly cheating customers. Please train them properly. They’re damaging the company's name, and I won't stay in OYO again.
