OYO Townhouse 047 Kanakpura Road

We stayed two days with family, and it was a very disappointing visit. The location near the metro was convenient, but that was the only good thing. The cupboard was crawling with cockroaches, which is a serious cleanliness concern, especially with children. We’d booked a Deluxe Room with a kitchen, but there wasn’t even a kettle. I asked staff for one several times and got ignored. The front office staff were also very rude and dismissive when we brought up the problems. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. There are better options nearby that care about guests and basic hygiene.

The staff were unresponsive and didn’t seem to care when I reported problems. Their poor service made an already awful stay even worse. There was no water, the AC didn’t work at all, and the room was unbearably hot. The toilet was broken, and the room was untidy, unmopped, and clearly hadn’t been cleaned properly before I arrived. Basic hygiene seemed completely ignored. This was one of my worst hotel stays, and I’d strongly advise avoiding the place unless you’re ready for a frustrating disappointment.

We arrived at 10 pm, after booking about a month earlier to make sure we’d have a safe place to stay. The third-floor lights were all off, the property looked suspicious, and the lift wasn’t working, so we had to climb up. The key card wouldn’t open the room. When staff opened the door, cockroaches were crawling into the pillows by the wall. It was easily my worst experience. We didn’t stay and asked for a refund, but they told me to contact Goibibo, which I couldn’t access. We lost the money and had to look for another room that night. How are places like this still operating in the city?

The staff were always polite and willing to help, and the room was roomy, clean, and comfortable. I had a really lovely stay here. Highly recommend it!
