Savoury Business Hotel

The Mango Fish Curry was a let-down. It had a nice tangy flavor, but the fish portion was small, and for the price we expected a better, meatier piece. Adjusting the portion or price would help a lot. Apart from that, we enjoyed the meal at Savoury Business Hotel's restaurant. The ambiance was warm, the menu had a decent range, and the staff were welcoming and attentive. Most of what we tried was flavorful and well prepared, with neat presentation and prompt service. We’d give it another try and hope the curry is better next time.

There’s no courtyard, and you enter straight from the main road. Still, the hotel is conveniently located in Madivala, with a good restaurant and prompt service. The front desk service could be better.

My colleague was so scared and uncomfortable that we checked out immediately. During her business trip, a male staff member behaved inappropriately toward her, raising serious concerns for women’s safety at Savory Business Class Hotel. We reported it to reception, but they just called the staff member, who denied everything. They wouldn’t review the CCTV footage despite our requests. When the manager arrived, he was arrogant and dismissive, seemed more interested in defending the staff than guest safety, and also refused to check the footage. The hotel showed no basic ethics, professionalism, or responsibility toward guest safety. It may call itself “business class,” but it fails at what matters most. I strongly don’t recommend it, especially to female travelers.

Trying to check in here today gave my day a bad start. The staff were rude and unprofessional, treating us as if we were thieves and giving the impression that they had no regard for customers. The rooms are far below average for the price. It’s a prime location, so I hope they improve the rooms and service.
