The food and drink discount was also refused at checkout. Our booking showed 15%, but staff said we had to mention it when ordering and that it didn’t cover room service or breakfast. None of that had been explained when we checked in. When we questioned the bill, the front desk blamed the kitchen and the kitchen blamed the front desk. No one took responsibility. My mother and I had booked four days because I had an exam nearby. We’re both women, and after more than 12 hours of travel we expected an easy arrival. The site said early check-in for two hours was complimentary, and when we called two days ahead, they promised a callback that never came. The room was ready when we arrived, but they still made us wait an hour, then charged ₹900 for just one hour of early check-in. We were also shown discounts on both reservations, but neither was honored. That felt misleading and unfair, and showed a lack of transparency. The stay was disappointing, with poor communication, misinformation, and mismanagement. I hope the management addresses it.

Miss. Rajeshree at the front desk was supportive and helpful, and made our stay a wonderful experience. The hotel food and rooms are well maintained. Thanks to the hotel for its hospitality.

Agoda later said a refund could be processed if the hotel canceled the booking, but the hotel refused, saying check-in had already been completed. I lost ₹3,000 without actually staying there and had to leave immediately. We’d only been in the room for five minutes. At check-in, staff accepted my Aadhaar ID and asked us to wait five minutes, then suddenly refused to accommodate us, saying “Bangalore residents are not allowed.” I had a confirmed Agoda booking at Spring Hotel and Spa, Bangalore. The hotel’s written policy only says local forms of ID may not be accepted. That is different from banning local residents, and nobody told me about this restriction beforehand. The receptionist was rude, wouldn’t let me speak to the manager, and kept us waiting at reception for nearly an hour. I explained that I’m a doctor, but there was still no respect or professionalism. Because of travel constraints, we were forced to check in. The experience was humiliating and involved discrimination against local Bangalore residents, unclear policies, rude staff, and refusal to help with the refund. I would strongly not recommend this hotel. Guests deserve transparency, dignity, and basic courtesy.

The food was good, but it cost extra. Breakfast was 350 per person and very good. For the stay, though, I wouldn’t recommend this hotel. The rooms were awful, with poor facilities and no response from staff. The helpdesk numbers in the catalog either went unanswered or the person on the line couldn’t be heard. Room service was terrible, and there was cigarette smoke smell in every room. They list rooms as non-smoking but don’t seem to care about guests’ comfort or problems. They charged 1500 extra for kids even though they were under 10. There was no drinking water in the room, and when I asked, they said it was chargeable at 53+ gst per liter, despite the normal bottle showing an MRP of 20 INR. A waste of money and peace.
