Terrace Gardens

Thank you, team, for making my stay wonderful. You’re the best for a reason, and I’d suggest everyone explore theirs.

The location is excellent, on a quiet residential street, and I had a comfortable stay. It’s a great mix of home and B&B, with very friendly staff and warm, homely service. The rooms were very clean and the bathrooms excellent. One small area for improvement for international guests: the mattresses and pillows were thin. There were no bedside lamps, and the bedside power outlets were only on one side of the bed. I’ll definitely stay here again.

The greenery and access to the terrace make this such a homely place. It’s in a peaceful community, with a 10 min walk to Trinity Metro Station and 10 min walk to Brigade/ MG Road, so it’s easy to get across the city to the busy corners and outskirts by metro. I stayed a little over 2 weeks and had a simply lovely time. I’ve visited Bangalore several times and stayed at high class hotels like holiday inn and Oberoi, but Terrace Gardens gives the best bang for your buck. It’s not a fancy, glamorous hotel, but it has everything I want for a simple, happy stay that feels like home. Everything was clean, and the staff were always helpful. I never felt away from home: no complex corporate policies, just a simple check-in and a lovely experience. From room service to the managers, Ms. Mary & Mr. Akash were friendly and welcoming. Breakfast felt like home, with smiles all around and helpful people everywhere. The proprietor and her family were the cherry on top, gentle in their speech and kind in their verbiage. They were always welcoming and up for a quick chat.

Everything I needed was covered in this mix of hotel apartment and hotel room. My stay was short, so I didn’t check whether they had laundry, but everything else was simply great, including the fresh breakfast prepared on the spot. I enjoyed my stay!
