THE ON TIME HOTEL Bangalore

The location is fabulous, with great bars and restaurants right on your doorstep. Rooms are a decent size and clean, staff are generally polite, room cleaning is acceptable, and breakfast is adequate to get the day started. The GM is a nice fellow who'll go out of his way to help. We check out shortly, so here's my mixed review. The shower water was barely lukewarm for our first two days. It wasn't fixed until the third day, when a staff member raised the temperature on the central system. Our room was described as having a 'city view', but the view was a building a couple of feet away. I asked for a shaving kit on day one and got one. When I requested another on day three, I was told they were out of stock. Further enquiries showed they had them, but limited it to one per stay. Very strange, and luckily they weren't rationing toilet rolls too. We booked four nights and would have appreciated some goodwill. Still, the 1.00 pm checkout, an extra hour, was appreciated.

The room was well equipped, neat, and tidy, and the food was delicious. Reception staff were always smiling and ready to help, which made us feel welcome. We want to thank the management and everyone at ONTIME HOTEL for a comfortable, pleasant stay. Everything about the place was wonderful, and we had a lovely experience. Guadalupe, Goa

The hotel is right across from the famous Nagarjuna Restaurant, which is handy if you love good food. Rooms were clean and comfortable, and the service was good, with professional, supportive staff. They don't allow outside guests in the room, which could be inconvenient for some visitors. Overall, a good stay in a prime location.

We had no other choice but to stay here, since there was no availability elsewhere and another hotel wouldn't let foreigners check in. Booking at the last minute, we were offered two rooms and chose the larger premier suite for the three of us. For that price, I'd expect a clean room. The towels were stained, the quilt was dirty, and the shower head was rusted.
