Mansarovar Hotel & Banquets

The staff were very cooperative, but the breakfast and tea were not good.

The location is very good, with almost everything nearby, but the hotel itself was pathetic. The food was bad, and the bathroom was so dirty I didn’t want to go in. All the taps were leaking. I stayed with my family in Feb 23. I’d suggest choosing a family room rather than a double occupancy room. The deluxe room cost 1700, while the family room was 3000 incl brkfst and taxes.

The bathroom was filthy, like it hadn’t been scrubbed, and the AC vents let cold air blow in during winter. We paid 1200 per day, but didn’t get fresh towels. Monkeys were a nuisance all day, and there was no WiFi. They simply said no, with no backup service if the hotel internet was down. The receptionists were rude and seemed to have no idea how to treat guests. Senior manager Mr Rajendra Prasad seemed more focused on collecting the rent and sitting at the front desk than asking about the service. A very bad stay, and I wouldn’t return.

The hotel's only real advantage is its location. The rooms and toilets were in poor shape: many rooms had no geyser, some of the others had ones that didn't work, and one room had a short circuit with current in the switches. When we complained, the answer was, “This can happen anywhere, what can we do?” Food is better ordered from outside, since even a cup of tea took hours to arrive. Reception staff were rude and not courteous at all.
