At 7 in the morning, I was asking about the room rate and discussing it with my family on the phone when the receptionist snapped, "If you want cheap, go to the crossroads." I'd stayed here several times over the past four years, but this time I was alone and wanted to talk it through first. I've never met someone so rude in hospitality. It was impatient, unprofessional behavior, and I felt treated like dirt. This hotel is a definite no for me. And yes, I'll go to chauraha next time. Thanks for the advice.

The room was tiny, the service was awful, and the food cost way too much. I had to book at the last minute and really regret it. This place isn't suited to business travelers.

For this price, it was quite impressive compared with other hotels around here. The one thing that bothered me was how uncomfortable the pillows were.

The service was warm and attentive, and my order arrived quickly, hot and without any apparent drop in quality. I tried some Continental dishes, including creamy pasta and nicely toasted garlic bread, and both the food and presentation impressed me. The coffee was well made too. Sobti Continental has a polished, luxurious look inside, with carefully done lighting that feels glamorous while still being intimate. Outside, there's plenty of greenery and the setting feels clean and looked after. It seems suited to a quiet dinner as well as a big celebration. Practical details were good too. The washrooms were spotless, there's plenty of room for parties and gatherings, and dedicated parking with a watchful security guard made arriving by car feel easy. There's a wide choice of food and drinks. A memorable, high quality dining experience in Bareilly, and one I'd recommend.
