Our destination wedding on 22 &23 Nov turned out seamless and special, and our guests are still talking about the lovely setting, coordination, and service. From arrival onward, the team was kind, professional, and attentive to every detail. It was everything we hoped for and more. This was my third visit to Manohar Villa. The first two stays were pleasant, but this Christmas visit was very disappointing, starting as soon as we arrived. The receptionist first said they couldn't arrange a bonfire and DJ night. After we asked several times, she agreed, but the bonfire only lasted 45 minutes and they wouldn't refill it when we asked. At dinner, one friend had a stomach ailment and couldn't eat then. Since the restaurant closes at 10:30 PM, we asked if food for one person could be packed so he could eat later after taking his medicine. The server spoke to his senior, Mr. Avinash Yadav, who refused. I explained the medical situation calmly, but Mr. Avinash said food had to be eaten in the restaurant and couldn't be packed without his permission. He repeatedly referred to “policy” and said arrogantly that he was the head of the restaurant. I understand policies, but this felt like a small request from paying guests. Hospitality should help solve guests' problems. Instead, he took it personally and escalated things. Then, at around 10:25 PM, while the restaurant was about to close, another friend was still eating dinner alone. He asked for halwa and chapati, but Mr. Avinash rudely refused, saying the restaurant was already closed. While my friend was still eating his last chapati, Mr. Avinash told staff to switch off the lights. He knew the guest was still seated and eating. When my friend objected, Mr. Avinash misbehaved with him again. I've never experienced this kind of unprofessionalism, lack of empathy, and poor hospitality at a hotel before. It completely ruined the guest experience. I hope management takes this seriously and trains staff to treat guests with basic courtesy, empathy, and professionalism.

There’s lots of space to wander around, ample parking, and good, fresh food. Service was good too. It’s a nice spot for functions and weddings, or a one-night weekend getaway. The village hut has the best view. On weekends, you can also get a camel ride or join pottery sessions. Function swimming pool.
