Hotel Abhashree

Really nice hotel. Big thanks to all the staff at hotal abhashree for being so kind and welcoming.

The rooms are spacious, and the staff treated us politely. That was about all I could praise. We booked the most premium rooms. We had been told parking was on the property and private, but it turned out to be a small enclosure open to the main road, barely big enough for our two cars. The Google image makes the hotel look fairly large and set in an open area. In reality it sits in a very crowded spot, and without Google helping us we might have struggled to find it. The rooms look old and upkeep is poor. It seemed they had tried to clean as much as they could before we arrived, but the lack of care was still obvious. The sofas were plainly dirty, and the bits of sofa-cover-like material laid over them weren't very clean either. I feel fabric-covered furniture should be avoided if it can't be kept clean.

The Suite room was large, though it needs maintenance. Staff were friendly and glad to help, and the location worked well for me, close to the market, court, and railway station. There's no restaurant in the hotel, but room service has a limited selection. At Rs. 3300 a night, it felt expensive for the facilities on offer. Still, Betul is a small town and there aren't many alternatives.

The rooms have a nice feel, and the staff are cooperative, though they could be more active. My issues with the toilet flush and card payment weren't sorted even after I complained. The food is good, but breakfast isn't included. Betul railway station is about 700 metres away.
