It's an old building and hasn't been maintained. The room wasn't cleaned properly. Only passable as a budget hotel.

The location is convenient, right on the highway and about a five-minute walk from keoladeo bird sanctuary. Our room had an attached balcony, a tea table, sofa, bed, and cupboard. It was clean, and both the room and bathroom were a good size. They brought an extra chair, blanket, and pillow when we asked. The staff were helpful, and they warmed and served the homemade food we had brought along. I booked Hotel Pratap Palace bharatpur for one night after finding it among the similar properties while looking for RTDC hotel saras. It looked good from the reviews and turned out to be a decent budget place with the facilities we needed. There was no TV or room mirror, so we had to use the bathroom mirror. The basin drained badly and water ran onto our feet. The morning coffee was also poor, with little sugar and coffee, mostly water, and just enough milk for color. We only had snacks, so I can't comment on the food quality. The menu prices did seem a little high. Overall, an average budget stay.
