The food was decent, the service was good, and the staff were friendly. The hotel is also close to the bird sanctuary. Those were the only bright spots for me, and I wouldn't come back. We should have stayed in Agra and driven to the sanctuary instead. In winter there was no heat in either the rooms or the common areas. People were eating in the restaurant wearing coats, scarves, and hats. They provided a space heater for our room, but it took a full day to warm the place. There was no hot water in the shower or sink, and the plumbing looked rusted, which seemed to be why the water tasted salty. We had to carry our own luggage in, and check-in took 20 minutes despite there being no queue. The floor was dirty, and the bedding and towels badly need replacing. Most things were stained, including old yellow-stained pillows. The WiFi was very poor. This felt more like a 2-2.5 star hotel.

The balconies were the best part for me, since I like having fresh air come through during a stay. The rooms and linen could be cleaner. It's a decent option in Bharatpur, one of the better ones around even if it isn't the best.

I couldn't get the so-called free WiFi to connect after trying for ages, and the staff member just said, "Sir, mera toh chal raha hai." That didn't solve anything. I've been traveling and staying in different places for 15 days and haven't met with such a useless, arrogant attitude anywhere else. The WiFi doesn't work in the room, and staff don't seem to care. They acted as if expecting basic amenities at a supposed 4-star resort was my fault. Regenta Resort Bharatpur was a total waste of money. Avoid it if you value your sanity and a working internet connection.

The rooms are good, but there was no hot water. Service and food quality could both improve. I'd suggest hiring decent security staff who treat guests respectfully.

My morning was spoiled by poor restaurant management: there was a fly in the water jug they served. At checkout, the front desk staff took almost 30 minutes to prepare my food bill, and the washroom shower wasn't working properly. It was a very disappointing stay.
