GCC Northside Hotel

Breakfast at White Arc on the 15th floor was a highlight. The seating was spacious and the spread was limited, but everything tasted very good. The whole hotel looked newly built, spotless, and well maintained. Our room and washroom were clean, and the elevators were super fast. Mr. Kevin at reception was very helpful when we checked in, and Mr. Naidu at checkout was kind and explained the property. We had a very pleasant stay at GCC Northside hotel. It exceeded our expectations, and I'd highly recommend it.

I've stayed at gcc northside for years and have always had professional service and rooms, so yesterday's stay was a really disappointing surprise. The first room hadn't been cleaned properly and had towel stains. I asked for another room, but the one they gave me was smaller, and its wash basin wasn't lined up correctly with the water outlet. I had a busy day, so I didn't ask to move again. When I mentioned the basin at checkout, the manager said he already knew about the issue. Giving me that second room despite knowing about it was extremely unprofessional. I'd never had an inconvenience on earlier stays.

The staff were responsive when we raised the room problems at night. They quickly brought the cutlery and toiletries we asked for, and let us check in late, around 3 AM on the 21st. They also allowed checkout at 11 AM instead of the usual 10, which helped. Breakfast was another bright spot: they let us take it to our room, and although the selection was limited, there was enough variety for different preferences. Still, the room's condition left a poor impression. It smelled unpleasant and didn't look properly cleaned. The toilet hadn't been flushed, the toilet paper was torn and insufficient, and there were visible stains on the bedsheet, including what looked like an oil stain from food. The check-in process was also unusual: even though we'd already shared our IDs, both guests were photographed at the desk. I haven't come across that at other properties in this category. I booked a Deluxe Room with bed and breakfast at GCC Northside for one night, March 20-21, 2026. I expected a comfortable stay because of its association with the reputed GCC Group, but the experience fell short. The late arrival might explain why the room hadn't been fully prepared, but at the total price including taxes, that initial condition wasn't acceptable for the price point. I hope they address the housekeeping and service consistency issues.

The breakfast was great, with live dosa and a wide buffet selection of regional and international dishes. The restaurants served delicious food too, with a great choice of Indian and continental cuisine. On our three-day stay for a wedding, the well-furnished rooms were very clean, and housekeeping responded quickly. The staff at reception, room service, restaurants, and housekeeping all made us feel welcome and looked after. We'd definitely stay here again if we're back in the area.
