The room freshener was so strong it gave us headaches, and the tea and coffee we ordered at check-in took about 45 minutes to arrive despite several follow-up calls. Hot water was another serious problem: none was available on the first day, and although we were told it was solar-powered, we waited nearly an hour the next morning and still had none. Hot water only came on the morning we checked out. Because the staff had been dismissive from the start, we felt discouraged from bringing up anything else, since it seemed unlikely they would take it seriously. This fell far below what I’d expect from a 3-star hotel in cleanliness, responsiveness, and basic courtesy. I wouldn’t recommend Hotel Sai Residency. The staff were discourteous and unprofessional, and the facilities didn’t meet basic standards despite the 3-star rating. At check-in, each guest had to sign the register. My elderly mother has difficulty walking and is short in height, so she was seated on the reception sofa. We politely asked the staff to bring the register to her, but a staff member rudely refused and insisted she come to the desk. It was uncomfortable for her to reach the high counter, and the lack of consideration was disappointing. We also found stains on the bedsheets as soon as we checked in. When we raised it, staff initially denied there was a problem. They acknowledged it only after we asked someone to inspect in person, then shifted responsibility to the laundry service rather than handling it professionally. Their attitude felt careless and dismissive. We paid extra to upgrade from a standard room to an executive one. The room itself was average, but the bathroom wasn’t properly cleaned, smelled unpleasant as if there might be hygiene issues, and had a blocked drain.

The staff were very good, and the service was good too. The restaurant on the ground floor had decent prices and tasty food. We stayed for three days, and after we mentioned a bad smell on the second day, they upgraded our room. The photos are of the upgraded room. The room on the third floor felt a little strange because of the walk lifting.

The food was a 5, and the room was good because they were giving us free food cockroaches. Again, the receptionist gets -1. The younger of the two receptionists didn’t tell me I had to book online to extend my stay and avoid extra expenses. Maybe he’s just too loyal to the hotel owner, getting him extra money by fooling customers. I stayed at sky executive hotel, hardly 100 meters away, and their receptionist simply said I could extend by paying the same amount without booking again and again. That was so convenient, and I liked it. There’s an option to add a photo here, sorry, I forgot to take a picture because of the cockroach.

Mr. Rishabh, the manager, made our stay smooth and hassle-free. He was extremely helpful and polite, explained everything clearly, and guided us about the destination and local attractions. We were very comfortable at Hotel Sai and would definitely like to visit again.
