Brij Palace

There are eateries and transportation right outside, and the room and bathroom were clean. Staff were helpful, and the stay was satisfactory overall. But for 2 straight days there was no hot water. We had to wait and speak to staff for close to an hour before it was available.

The hotel is very well located, so it might be good for a night, and reception was warm, welcoming, and helpful. Beyond that, the rooms are too small for a family. There's a suite with more space, but the services aren't in place. Housekeeping didn't seem professional, and staff sat chatting loudly in the lobby late at night. Other guests didn't behave properly, which made it a bit scary for single ladies. The water heater is switched on manually from outside, so you can't bathe when you choose. There's no natural air or ventilation, and no window, so the room feels suffocating. There's no fire safety or emergency exit.

The hotel is centrally located, with spacious roads leading to it. Rooms are good, but our room didn't have an AC remote. Water supply was interrupted for 30-40 min one morning during our stay. The hotel has no parking of its own, though government parking is available in front.
