Hotel Shubh Inn

Our suite was spacious, and the staff sorted out all the needs we raised, including laundry. Breakfast was good and served on time; the restaurant was well maintained, though some repair work seemed to be underway. The location, right beside the railway station, was excellent. We’d been unsure after reading some reviews, but Ms.Varsha at the front desk welcomed us and eased our concerns when we arrived. We stayed on 14th 15th and 16th December 2025. As first-time visitors to Bhopal, we had a pleasant stay, and the service was good.

I paid through the app for an Executive Room because its listing showed a large room with several facilities. On arrival, I was given a Classic Room that didn’t match the booking or the photos. When I showed the staff the app images and asked them to change it, they refused. The manager was especially uncooperative and blamed a “glitch” in the application. Rather than fix the mismatch, they told me to leave and brought up canceling the booking. I had booked and paid for an Executive Room based on the app’s information. A technical error shouldn’t leave the customer forced into a downgrade. This was unacceptable.

Staff knocked on our door at midnight, and we felt very unsafe and had no privacy. The noise cancellation was so bad that we couldn’t sleep all night. It was a very bad experience, and I wouldn’t book here again or recommend it to anyone.

The replacement room staff offered after I went downstairs around 1 AM was just as unhygienic and didn’t meet my expectations. I’d booked well in advance, but arriving late at night on the 16th, I was assigned room 107 beside metro work and a busy road. The noise was unbearable, hour after hour. The room was cramped, about 10x12 feet, and in poor condition, with marks all over the walls. Between the noise and lack of comfort, I started feeling giddy. Staff were somewhat accommodating when I asked for help, but the stay was horrible. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone seeking a comfortable, quiet stay.
