The food was amazing, and they even served it hot past midnight. I've been staying here on and off for 7-8 years, but this was my first visit since the renovation. The rooms are great quality for the price, and I don't think you'll find a better deal in the city. Staff are polite and respond to every request. Thanks to Karan bhai for having me stay at Tilak. The hospitality is fantastic.

The mattress was much too soft for a full night, and I woke up with noticeable aches. It might be okay for a short rest, but not for overnight sleep. Also, being charged for bottled water was disappointing, especially in peak summer, since I would expect it to be complimentary at a hotel in this category. On the good side, staff and service were commendable. They accommodated my early check-in request, and the complimentary breakfast was a welcome extra. A decent stay, though free drinking water and firmer mattresses would make it more comfortable.
