Kanha Stay by OYO Rooms

It’s in a quiet, slightly tucked-away spot with greenery around it, and there’s decent parking. The location and rooms were just right for me, and the place is couple friendly with good service and a great receptionist. Prices are affordable: 800 for non-AC and 1000 for an AC room. A good place to rest.

The Wi-Fi was the one problem. I connected to the network they told me to use, but it still wouldn't work that day. Otherwise, the room was clean and hygienic, our requests were handled quickly, and both the receptionist and the person who helped with our bags were kind and helpful.

I had no problem with the staff, and checking in with the very polite female receptionist was quick and smooth. I was there for a friend's birthday, and they can arrange custom decorations for a small extra charge. It was apparently a hostel before, and you can still spot a gas-top platform under furniture. The washrooms are just okay, and families may want to avoid the place. It's more suited to couples and bachelors, with no dedicated four-wheeler parking, which could be an issue. Under 1000 rupees it's not a bad deal if you need that particular area of Bhopal, though there are plenty of other choices elsewhere. Water isn't complimentary, a bottle costs 25 rupees.
