We’ve been coming to this dhaba for 15 years. There’s plenty of room to move around, and it never feels as congested as a hotel. Birthday parties are common, with a kids’ zone, games, and a DJ. After eating, we can sit and chat without feeling like someone’s waiting for our spot. It’s a relaxed place right on the national highway, with enough parking. Construction is going on, but it’s still open. I miss the joola my kids used to play on when they were little.

For a laid-back hangout with friends, some people enjoy the open space, food, and music at Malgudi Resort, also known as Malgudi Fort, and find the North Indian dishes decent for the price. Others complain about uneven food quality, slow service, and unprofessional or poor management. The busy, loud atmosphere may work for party crowds, but I find the ambience disappointing. It doesn’t feel relaxing or premium to me, and seems more like a casual spot than a peaceful resort.

The food used to be good, but my visit yesterday was a disaster. They charged high prices and served food that was tasteless and definitely not fresh.

The setting is okay, and they do serve liquor. Food is good if you especially like non-veg. Service and professionalism can be an issue, though, so I’d call Malgudi Fort average.

The food was awful and nowhere near worth the high prices. Service was poor too, with careless staff and management that seemed badly coordinated and unprofessional. This was a disappointing waste of time and money, and I wouldn’t choose this place for a celebration or recommend it.
