Palette - Hotel Saket Greens

There’s no hotel by this name, and there isn’t even a phone number to call. MakeMyTrip didn’t provide one either.

The hotel name doesn’t seem to exist at all. They’re using the wrong name; the actual place is called "shubh shaleen greenz". If you’re booking during wedding season, I’d avoid it because they take a long time to respond. They don’t provide basics like water or towels unless you call, and even then the water comes in a large jug, not packaged drinking water. At check-in we were told breakfast wasn’t included, but in the morning a woman suddenly said it was complimentary by mistake. I was about to pay for one item, and when I checked again, breakfast was listed. Tea comes in small paper cups but costs like it’s from a big three-star hotel. It feels like having tea at a train or bus station. I wouldn’t recommend this hotel, unless you have a nearby wedding function to attend and want to consider it. There are other nearby hotels too, though they aren’t listed online.

I rarely leave bad hotel reviews when a stay simply falls short, since there can be reasons for that. This was the worst hotel experience I’ve had in years of visiting and reviewing places as a Google Guide, and I’d strongly tell people not to book it. We also had to pay the same room charges again at the other hotel, which had nothing to do with this one. I’d booked two rooms because my brother was taking JEE Advance at 9 am, and this hotel was close to the exam center. We reached Bhopal at 10:30 PM after a tiring journey and spent nearly 45 minutes looking for it, including around the Google Maps location. Locals told us the hotel was where we’d been searching, but it had changed its name and hadn’t updated Google Maps or Oyo. They also hadn’t mentioned the name change when I called the day before to confirm. At 11:15 PM, exhausted from traveling, my family and I finally got inside. I showed the receptionist our booking confirmation ID and asked for the rooms. He calmly said they were sold out and offered a hotel 5-6km away, or told us to find somewhere else. He knew we had a booking, but said they had overbooked everywhere and gave rooms on a first-come, first-served basis. Since it was late and my brother had an early exam, I pleaded and did what I could, but they still wouldn’t give us a room. Instead, they gave us an address for another hotel and said it was theirs. We went there around midnight, only to find it wasn’t theirs. That receptionist was confused too. About 10-12 people, mostly families with children there for exams, had also been denied rooms and sent to that hotel with the same story. They managed to give us a room at 12:30 at night after seeing the kids were tired and had exams in the morning. We later learned this hotel had given its rooms to guests attending a nearby wedding. They’d apparently chosen not to honor bookings made long in advance by people traveling from far away for exams, and didn’t even have the decency to tell us beforehand. It was outright a scam.

There’s no place with this name, which seems like a kind of scam. The actual hotel is "Subh sahleen", just in front and a little to the right. The room costs 1500rs for 1 person or 2000rs for 2 people.
