Cheap, and close to the railway station. That’s about the main plus. The rooms are cramped and not very good, and the staff are just okay. There are no AC rooms, which makes summer stays difficult, and the coolers don’t work properly. If you only need a place for a night and want to save on travel costs, you could stay here.

There were serious water problems, even in the morning, so you’ll have to put up with that if your budget is very tight. They ask for ₹500 a day for a room that was ₹150, saying there won’t be another hotel like theirs. If you want to save more and get a room at a reasonable price, try a nearby Dharamsala, where you can get one for 150 and more. Don’t go here.

There was no reliable water supply, including in the morning when there wasn’t enough to flush. The room didn’t have a proper toilet, and spending even two hours there was difficult. The bedsheet was filthy, with paan spit on the pillow. There was no room service or drinking water bottle. For anything you need, you have to go to reception.

The one upside is that it’s near the railway station. The rest was awful. The bathroom had no light, the floor was dirty, and it was the smallest bathroom I’ve ever seen, barely possible to sit comfortably. A waiter pressured me for a tip and wouldn’t leave the room until I gave one. There was no mineral water; they refill old bottles and keep them on the ground floor, so you have to go downstairs to get one. They mostly don’t like online payments and ask for extra. They also charge an extra rs 100 for checking in before 12 pm, even if you leave before 10 am the next day.
