The staff were good and cordial, and I found the food satisfactory. Tea and coffee were good too, though most of the mugs and bowls were stained and should be replaced. The room fan had a visible layer of dust, there was a musty smell, and the paint was coming off. The washroom curtains and furnishings were quite worn, and the blanket covers were stained and didn't look clean. The property needs a lot of maintenance.

We booked two of the property's costliest suite rooms directly through its website, not a third party, but the place was badly managed and half of it seemed dilapidated. Cleanliness was almost nonexistent, and the dining area hadn't even been mopped properly. The bathrooms had broken partitions, and there were no high chairs for babies in the dining area. The food didn't taste fresh. Staff seemed grumpy and didn't smile, and the hospitality was zero. Then the power went out, leaving me without electricity to prepare a bottle feed for my baby. I have no idea why Google rated this resort five stars. It was an absolutely pathetic experience, the worst-managed five-star resort I've ever seen.

The natural surroundings were a real highlight and made the stay pleasant. The room was clean, though basic, and staff were polite. Amenities were adequate for a 3-star hotel. Breakfast was average. A decent budget stay if you care more about the surroundings than luxury.
