The rooms are okay, but very expensive. AC rooms cost around 1500rs to 2000rs per night, and non AC rooms are 800rs to 1300rs. When I looked for a room, the Madison homestay maneger said non AC rooms weren’t available, but offered me an AC room without AC for 1300rs a night.

The staff were good, and my Non AC room was clean with a large window. It’s easy to find in the main area of bbsr.

The pillows provided were dirty, and the room smelled very bad. The balcony door handle was broken, so it really wasn’t an ideal place to stay. There was a beedi smell throughout my stay, apparently from the housekeeper, who didn’t seem like a housekeeper at all. That person needs to be changed. I stayed from 5 Jan to 7 Jan 2026.
