The location is the only thing I really liked. It’s easy to find, right by the main market, with major shopping areas nearby and the railway station not too far away. Getting around was convenient. The staff were few but friendly and did the work, even if sometimes it happened later. We appreciated being let in when we arrived at 12:30 am, despite the 11 pm gate closing time. Still, the wait for everything was awful. Check-in took about half an hour, and verification took forever for such a small task. We had already waited before verification too. There weren’t enough staff, with one person handling data entry and showing guests to rooms. Please hire one more person for everyone’s sake. The place looked like an abandoned house, as if the owner never spent a penny on maintenance. There were tobacco spits where people normally walk, and things looked broken and old. Our room seemed unmaintained too: the bathroom door wouldn’t lock, the shelf shutters were broken, there was dust everywhere including the curtains, and tobacco stains on the toilet seat wouldn’t come off even when cleaned. We had to pay the maid extra for cleaning. Beer bottles were left openly in the corridor, which made it feel unsafe for a girl. In reply to the response: I’m not new to travelling. Hotels should do the required physical ID verification, and I respect that, but taking an Aadhaar number shouldn’t be needed given the rise in scams. We went along with your rules, but the process took far too long. And about 2 am, trust me, your clock is strange. I won’t question that further since it was our fault for arriving at 12:30 am when the gates close at 11 pm. Thanks for considering our convenience and letting us in.
