OYO 8222 Capital Guest House 2

The staff were arrogant, the rooms smelled, and there was no cleaning, breakfast, or WiFi. After waiting three hours, I went to reception and found the main AC switch turned off. I'd thought there had been a power cut, but I switched it back on and everything worked. Don't go to this pathetic hotel.

For two people, the room is basic but decent, and the bathroom is mostly clean. There's no proper cupboard setup. They provide a towel, soap, and one bottle of water as extras. Prices can be negotiated. Power cuts happen often, though there's a generator backup.

The rooms were poor quality and the AC didn't work. The receptionist said they couldn't provide the complimentary breakfast, and the staff were very rude. They refused us accommodation and the facilities we'd booked in advance, then asked us to cancel ourselves. After several arguments, they offered an offline booking at their hotel for a much higher price. OYO should remove hotels like this from its listings because of how they treat customers.

I booked through the OYO app for five days of official assignments at KIIT University, from 20th to 24th June, for 4700/-, with breakfast prebooked. The place felt like a haunted house in a dark area without street lamps. I arrived with my wife, and an unprofessional woman at reception rudely refused to check me in. First they said the AC wasn't working, then that OYO forced them to offer rooms so cheaply, and finally that they couldn't provide breakfast. Their behaviour seemed suspicious, so I left. In an emergency, OYO's grievance system was terribly poor and gave me no support. I managed to book OYO 8195 near patia through the app, 2 KM away, and had a hassle-free stay there with courteous staff and prompt service. Only OYO 8195 helped me. I couldn't find a way to report OYO 81222 in the app, and I don't trust OYO anymore.
