For the price, the hotel didn’t live up to the good reviews I saw on MMT. At checkout, a staff member asked me to open the app so she could leave a review on my behalf. I said I’d do it myself, so maybe some of those positive reviews were posted by staff for customers who didn’t know what was happening. I gave two stars for the location and for the staff’s behavior, except for the one who argued with my father. We’d asked the day before to have the room cleaned properly, because we’d had a bad experience at another hotel before. It still wasn’t cleaned well, and the toilet seat was dirty. The walls also seemed to let every outside sound through, which was annoying. We were told we could order room service from the restaurant, but when we tried, the phone didn’t work. Then they said restaurant service wasn’t good and told us to order from outside. The room didn’t have enough drinking water at first, though they brought some when we asked. Since the phone wouldn’t connect, my father had to keep going to reception to request things. At dinner, he asked for plates and waited quite a while. One staff member argued with him when he pointed out that there were two of us but only one plate. The staff member said he hadn’t asked for two. My father is about 67, and staff should know how to treat customers, whatever their age.
