For what we paid, the stay was reasonable, but the service could have been much better. The room and bed were clean, though the bathroom was below average: the tap was broken, and the basin tap ran so slowly it was barely usable. When the power went out, there was no inverter or generator backup, and we sat in the dark for over an hour. We told them twice and kept hearing they’d fix it, but they eventually brought candles. Later, the bathroom water stopped too. Instead of handling it, they gave me the reception number and told me to call. Guests shouldn’t have to report basic power and water outages themselves. Better coordination and professionalism are needed.

The food was a real highlight, with excellent variety and quality, and the Wi-Fi was reliable. I stayed at Jai Maruthi Boarding & Lodging in a Deluxe room for a vacation on March 19, 2025. The room was clean and comfortable, and the staff made me feel welcome from the moment I arrived. It was excellent value for money, and I’d recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable stay. There’s a water heater, but no hot water for drinking. The washroom could have been cleaner. Our room was spacious and had good furniture, with a queen-size cot and a single cot for two adults and a child. There are a few open parking spaces too.

Rates are very affordable for the rooms provided, which are nice and have good toilets. The service could be a little better. There’s a bar nearby, but it didn’t cause any disturbance. You do have to travel a few kilometres to find good food.
