When I arrived, they told me I should have let them know. They had given my room to someone else.

The rooms and cleanliness don’t justify the prices. I’d value each room at around Rs 1,000-1,500, but they charge Rs 2,500-3,000 for both AC and non-AC rooms. Google Maps helped us find a much better alternative, almost like a five-star hotel, for Rs 2,500. Why pay that much for dirty rooms when better ones are available for the same price?

The room we got wasn’t the one we’d booked online. They mixed us up with offline customers and put us in a terrible room. I later showed the booking confirmation as proof, and we felt cheated for what we paid. The toilet smelled and was dirty, the flush and water pressure were very low, the blankets weren’t clean, the room lighting was poor, and there was no geyser. The staff switched off the room’s power for the whole night, and we only realised at 5 am. The night receptionist came and turned on the individual power button while I was there. I had to use another room’s toilet to get hot water for my family. Hospitality was poor and unhelpful, and this hotel isn’t suitable for families. Never go here.

We were given better rooms automatically because they were available, and the owner and his son looked after us very well. They kept checking what we needed for meals, which were delicious and generously portioned. The staff were super friendly too. One person even turned down a small tip on the second day since we’d already tipped him earlier.
