Hotel Silver Oak

The kids can run around on the lawn right outside, which is handy for a family meal. I first came here for a birthday party and liked the food enough to return for lunch with my family. The Paneer Tikka masala is delicious, with really soft Paneer. Prices look low, but portions are a little small. A family of five can still eat well for 2.5k at January 2026 prices.

The room was spacious, and the location and parking were very good. Service was a letdown, though. The staff seemed new or untrained, mosquitoes came into the restaurant while we were eating, and there was no mosquito net available. We waited a long time for hot water, but none came from the tap, so we had to bathe in cold water. The buffet breakfast wasn't tasty, and the bathroom handle was loose and only temporarily fixed. I'd give the location and parking 5 out of 5, but service 3 out of 5.

They didn't have green tea at breakfast or in the room. The room itself was spacious, but dirty pillows and a bad smell from the washroom made it unpleasant. I reported the problems to housekeeping that evening and again to reception the next morning. I was told they'd be fixed before I returned that evening, or I'd be moved to another room. Nothing had changed when I got back, so I checked out.

Good for a family event, with nice interiors and tasty food. The AC in our room wasn't working during our one-day stay, but they acted right away after we told them and fixed it. The manager should check rooms before handing them over. Still, it was a nice experience.
