The Bunker Bir

The rooms were cozy and nice, and the food was one of the best parts. You won't want to leave the hostel, with its peaceful, cozy feel, and the events they host are awesome. Ankit is one of the sweetest people I've met, and our host Naihad was so polite. It was my first time in Bir, and I'm glad The Bunker was where I stayed. I arrived around 8 in the evening to the cold and was welcomed with GLH. Ask them to make it a devil 😉. The hot chocolate is a must-try. I'd call it the best hostel in Bir.

This was my second stay at Bunker. I meant to spend three days there, but ended up staying six, which says a lot about how comforting it is. The property is peaceful, scenic, and calming, with a quiet charm that makes you slow down. You can join the many activities or do nothing at all, which feels just as healing. The hosts look after every little need effortlessly and are always there when you need help, without making you feel overwhelmed. If you want calm, nature, and a kind, grounding space, Bunker is the place to be.

I spent almost a month at The Bunker in Bir, and it’s one of the best mountain stays I’ve experienced. The internet was super stable and fast, so working from the mountains was smooth and stress-free. It’s a peaceful, cozy, positive place that feels relaxing as soon as you walk in. The warm, well-kept rooms are comfortable and clean, and the thoughtfully designed common areas make it easy to socialize or sit quietly with a laptop or book. It suits travellers, digital nomads, and people working from the mountains or from home. The staff are polite, helpful, always smiling, and treat you like family. The food is a little expensive, but the quality, taste, and hygiene make it worth every rupee. A great fit for solo travellers, remote workers, bikers, or anyone wanting a break from city life. I arrived as a guest and left with beautiful memories, new friendships, and a piece of my heart in these mountains. Highly recommended! 💛🏔️
