The Hostel Stories Bir - Landing Site

The Hostel Stories Bir feels like a real traveller’s hub, where people connect, share experiences, hang out together, and make memories. It’s easy to meet great people whether you’re on your own or with friends. I liked it much more than those overly commercial hostels. The location is very convenient, close to the cute cafes and near the landing site. The place has a warm, social, lively feel, full of stories from travellers around the world. Huge thanks to Kriti, who keeps the energy and positivity going. You can really feel the care and effort she puts into creating this atmosphere. If you’re after the real traveller experience in Bir, this is the place to stay.

The people and the sense of community at this place are what made my time in Bir so special. There were sunset walks, balcony hangs, game nights, and Bollywood nights, with plenty of laughter and great company. It felt like home, and I left feeling like part of the family. I even cried on the way back. I first met Kriti before I ever got to the hostel, with no idea it would lead to one of my best experiences in Bir. I booked two days, then kept extending: five, seven, nine, and somehow nearly 15 days. If you want more than just a hostel bed in Bir, this is the place. It really does make you want to stay.

I had a great time at Hostel Stories and would happily stay again. It’s a cozy place with a lively, mostly young crowd and a nice spot to hang out with all kinds of people. The dorms were clean and the beds seemed hygienic. I didn’t try the food, but the staff were quick and effective when I needed something, and same-day laundry was available at fairly reasonable prices. The hostel is beside a flowing stream in a quiet spot, about a five-minute walk from Bir’s popular "The Landing" and around ten minutes on foot from the market. Definitely recommend it.

Raman deserves a special mention. He was a fantastic host, made everyone comfortable, and went above and beyond to make our stay memorable. I also came away with some incredible new friends after connecting with other travelers in the cozy common area. The Hostel Stories in Bir Billing has a warm, welcoming feel that worked well for both getting things done and relaxing. The views are stunning, and there’s a water stream right beside the property. It felt like a home away from home, and I can’t wait to return.
