Mahabodhi temple bodhgaya is nearby, and the surroundings are very peaceful. The room was clean and hygienic, and the service was excellent.

The staff were rude, and the bedsheet and pillow were dirty and smelled really bad.

We stayed here for a long stretch, from Jan15-Feb29,2020, in a twin-bed room with a big kitchen. It was easy to cook clean food every day. The place was clean, with no dust or road noise, and hot water was available. Walking across the rice field on a shortcut, the market was about 1.5kms away. Each morning at 5a.m. wll be wake up by loud prayers from Srilangka temple for an hour. The hotel is just behind Metta Budhdaram temple, with a walk to small len beside of. It was a very good place for a longer stay.

The two employees who worked day and night were fantastic, but the manager who came to collect payment didn't seem honest. He asked for nearly the full amount as a down payment and gave us a poor exchange rate. Every morning at 5 O'clock, prayers began at the temple right next door, with the sound system at full blast for an hour. It jolted us awake. The hotel itself wasn't bad, but we were charged more than the online listing. At first we were told only single-bed rooms were available, in a dark area. We later found the hotel empty and saw rooms at the front with double beds, so we moved the next day.
