I stayed here in December 2025 and was very disappointed. The rooms were dirty, old, and smelled foul, and the toilets weren’t cleaned properly. The staff were not cooperative. When we asked for room freshener, they bluntly said the one there was empty. We called reception again, and someone finally brought one almost four hours later. The food was very bad too. We ordered chicken kosha but got chicken kasha with improperly cooked potatoes. When we asked for gravy, they said there wasn’t any left. The problems kept piling up, and I wouldn’t recommend this hotel to anyone.

We booked four rooms with a 12 pm check-in, but after 12:30 pm we had received only one. The rooms, especially the toilets, weren’t properly cleaned, and the staff behaved poorly. We were given a small room and asked several times to change it. They told us we could complain to the site where we booked. Overall, a bad experience 😕

The station is just 4-5 minutes away, and there are facilities nearby including medicines, various shops, and Chitra More. The staff were really good and always smiling, especially Manager Madam, who was very attentive. The food was tasty and the portions were sufficient.

The hotel has an older feel, but it still has the amenities you need. Our room was great and the service was good. There’s a restaurant on the large rooftop, surrounded by flowers, with swings too. The food tasted really good and the portions were generous. It’s also less than an hour from Shantiniketan and other places to visit nearby.
