Good for a family function or event, and it works for a short trip too. It needs regular cleaning, though, and the bathroom setup is wrong.

The room was nice, and the manager was very friendly. There’s parking for two-wheelers too.

The manager was pleasant, and the lodge is in a very good area, so I’d rate the location and atmosphere 4.5 out of 5. My ground-floor room was average. The bathroom was good, with a geyser and shower for winter, but none of the rooms have a TV. The sheets and pillows were damp, and the tariff felt high for the room. Room sizes vary, and some rooms don’t have a wardrobe or cupboard for storing things. All in all, it was average.

This lodge is also a popular marriage hall for celebrations and other occasions. It’s very conveniently located, close to the railway station and Bolpur court, with decent bus service and good road connections. There’s a park in front of the hall.
