Zostel Bundi

The rooftop café was a favorite, with lovely views and a quiet place to unwind after exploring Bundi. The location is handy for sightseeing, but the property itself still feels peaceful. Rooms are clean and comfortable, and the common spaces are well looked after. The staff are warm and attentive, and happy to share tips about local spots. It has an easygoing, backpacker-friendly atmosphere, and felt safe and good value for my stay. I’d happily recommend it to solo travelers or small groups.

I was well looked after at Zostel Bundi. The manager and his family made me feel welcome, and the hospitality was amazing. I could do laundry, and they even drove me to the train station late at night. Thank you for being so kind. The place is clean, comfortable, friendly, and well located. The rooftop cafe is popular with locals. The menu can be adapted for vegan options if you specify low salt, your preferred spice level, and no ghee or butter. I had lemon and Coriander soup, Dal Dhabha, a Rajasthani dish of yellow lentils with oil, plus steamed rice and roti. Filtered water is provided, which was very welcome. It gets very hot there, so a couple of fruit juice options would be nice. The drinks are all based on dairy, sugar, caffeine, or alcohol, which can be challenging if you have food allergies or sensitivities.

The rooftop is a great spot to relax, and the location makes it convenient to explore Bundi. Zostel Bundi was clean and well maintained, with a really chill feel. Friendly, helpful staff too. Definitely recommend it.

The owner deserves special thanks for creating a welcoming place that’s thoughtfully run. The staff were warm and attentive, and made us feel right at home. Our room was clean and cozy, just right for a relaxing holiday. With its peaceful atmosphere and great location, we had a refreshing, memorable time at Zostel Bundi. Highly recommended!
