Affable Hotel

Parking was a mess on the third day, with no one managing the hotel parking and guests left to sort it out themselves. The property felt poorly managed, with fungus and seepage in the room, and helpless staff. There were four of us, two married couples. We arrived late on day one and were put in makeshift rooms connected to each other, with a connecting door that wouldn’t lock. There were no blankets, just bedsheets, and no towels or shampoo. The shower gel dispenser didn’t work, the linen was shabby and dirty, and both the room and washroom were dirty. On day two, after repeated requests, we were moved to a better room, but there was no water in the washroom. A Goan nightmare.

We faced power cuts every day, even though they claim to have 24-hour backup. The bedsheet was so dirty that we regretted coming to Goa, it had more dust than Baga beach. Every day we had to call staff and wait at least 30 minutes just to get water in the toilet. I was stuck in there half an hour without any. They didn’t provide basic things like towels, a bucket, or a mug. They said no hotels in Goa give buckets and mugs, seriously? Thanks for ruining our experience.

We stayed for three days and had water and electricity problems most of the time. There was nobody taking care of car parking, and the management was very poor. For the price, this was the worst stay possible in Goa.

Getting our car from the parking took 45 minutes because parking was poorly managed. Water was another problem throughout the stay: we had to ask for it every day, then wait around 30 minutes. There was no housekeeping at all during our visit.
