The rooms were comfortable, and the pool was fun to use. The people were very friendly and accommodating, which was the main highlight. We enjoyed the food, though I would’ve liked more local Goan cuisine. I heard this was the area’s first resort. There’s a football ground nearby, making it an ideal spot for a foosball tournament.

The website photos are misleading compared with the actual property, and the price doesn’t match the service and facilities on offer. I definitely wouldn’t recommend Alor Holiday Resort. The restaurant was the worst part. The chef was rude, and when I asked for baby food for my child, which they’d clearly promised at booking, they refused and argued with us. The food was below average and the attitude felt completely unprofessional. It was third-class service from the restaurant team. Our room was in very poor shape: dusty furniture, stained bedsheets, a leaking bathroom tap, old noisy ceiling fans, lots of mosquitoes, and a TV with no working sound. Check-in took far too long, and despite reminding staff several times, none of these problems were fixed.

A family friendly budget hotel. The staff were polite, check-in was smooth, and breakfast was tasty. The rooms were clean and spacious, with a maintained garden and swimming pool. Nice drinking water facility too. I’d recommend it.

A safe, family friendly hotel, and Kalangute beach is within walking distance. One of the best.
